What is a microneedling glide?
A slip layer applied before and between passes so the device moves smoothly instead of dragging. Most professionals use a hyaluronic acid serum.

The four questions practitioners ask most, in the order they ask them.
A slip layer applied before and between passes so the device moves smoothly instead of dragging. Most professionals use a hyaluronic acid serum.
A lightweight, fragrance-free serum made for use during treatment, and non-occlusive so it won’t clog needles. Hyaluronic acid is the most common choice.
No. Some ingredients that suit everyday routines, like retinol, exfoliating acids and fragrance, aren’t suited to freshly needled skin. Choose a formula made for treatment.

Cleanse and fully degrease. Leftover oil, SPF or makeup breaks up the glide and makes passes uneven.
Apply to one zone at a time. Reapply between passes so the surface never dries and the device never drags.
Finish with a thin layer. It helps skin hold moisture and visibly calms redness while it feels tight and dry.

Why a clean hyaluronic acid
When skin has just been treated, simple is better. Here’s why pure HA makes sense as the glide.
Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in skin, where it helps hold moisture and keep skin feeling soft and supple.
Sodium Hyaluronate is one of the most widely used skincare ingredients, and it’s gentle on all skin types, including sensitive skin.
HA attracts and binds water, helping skin stay hydrated and comfortable when it feels tight and dry after treatment.
Pure HA with a simple mineral complex. No fragrance, dyes, acids or retinoids on skin that’s just been treated.
Describes hyaluronic acid as a cosmetic ingredient, not a study of PHAZ.
Sodium Hyaluronate does the gliding. A mineral complex of Zinc, Copper and Magnesium keeps skin feeling balanced afterward.
Gives the device even, consistent slip, then attracts and holds moisture so skin feels smoother and less tight. Lightweight, with no dense or greasy finish.

Supports a fresh, balanced skin feel, well suited to combination and oily skin.
Part of the mineral complex that keeps skin feeling comfortable after treatment.
Rounds out the complex and supports the moisture barrier.

How to use PHAZ as a glide
Cleanse and degrease completely. Apply topical numbing per your protocol and remove it fully.
Apply a thin, even layer of PHAZ to one zone. Needle, then reapply before the next pass.
Press a final layer over the treated area. Clients continue at home as directed by their provider.
Yes. Use it as the glide during treatment, then finish with a thin layer. It helps skin hold onto moisture and visibly calms redness while skin feels tight and dry.
PHAZ is lightweight and non-occlusive, so it won’t leave a heavy film that interferes with the device. Follow your device’s User Manual for cartridge use and care.
Avoid fragrance, essential oils, retinoids, exfoliating acids and heavy oils or balms. They are poorly suited to freshly needled skin or can gum up the device.
Saline evaporates fast and offers little slip. A hyaluronic acid serum stays put longer, gives more even glide and adds hydration that saline can’t.
Work one zone at a time and reapply whenever the surface starts to feel tacky, usually before each new pass. A dry surface creates drag.
